LOST Tomfoolery #2
While scanning the LOST theories forums in my spare time, call it an exercise for my brain, I stumbled upon one theory which was so interesting that it caught my fancy. That being said let’s strap in for another thrilling installment of
LOST TOMFOOLERY!!
This week on LOST Tomfoolery, Deja Vu, a glimpse of the future, or a thing of the past. For most of us LOST fans, the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 are first time visitors. However, there is some speculation some inhabitants of the Island are only experiencing Deja Vu because they have been there before. I know, i know, it seems silly but look at it from a slightly different angle then normal time. Just as in the training videos there are more than one Rabbit with the same number painted on their sides, perhaps the island has created completely separate time lines. This is evident in Season 1 episode 11. After Jack gets his ass kicked by Ethan he takes off into the woods.
“I’m not letting him do this” (Jack)
“Not Letting him what” (Kate)
“not again” (Jack)
This suggests that somehow Jack is remembering a time when Ethan successfully Killed Charlie and Jack couldn’t do anything to save him. Think about these situations as well;
Perhaps Desmond’s visions into the future are actually memories of the past.
Maybe the “Musician” who programed the looking glass’ keypad, was Charlie.
Vision This Friday
Come enjoy a night of Contemporary Christian Rock!
Vision is a collection of local Christian musicians who are coming together for a good cause. The show starts at 7:30 and includes performances by Taylor Martin, James Vore, and The Mission, and guest speaker Marvin Fullilove. Vision is family friendly and all are invited. Bring friends!
Although the concert is free to attend, donations will be accepted (and very much appreciated) to benefit Robert Vore’s Eagle Scout Project. All proceeds will go towards the construction and installation of brand new benches for several gathering areas at Saint Thomas Aquinas.
Don’t miss performances by Taylor Martin, James Vore, and The Mission and guest speaker Marvin Fullilove!

Ladies and Gentlemen, here it is. The first of a weekly segment I call LOST tomfoolery. Here I will be sharing with you my most eccentric LOST theories, thoughts, and other bits of minutia.

Tonight, I will fill you in on one of my oldest and most ridiculed theories about LOST. Christian Sheppard is alive. That’s right, alive, all of you laughing and scoffing will be proven wrong in time. We have seen his empty coffin, we have heard Jack refer to him as being just “up-stairs” in the future, and we have even seen him kickin’ it in Jacob’s cabin (most likely having a drink and listening to a little Grateful Dead.)
Now, don’t get me wrong, I can’t explain to you how he is alive. Perhaps it has to do with the Islands properties, maybe he faked his own death, who knows. All I can say is that he is alive. If you need even more proof, check out this LOST webisode. Now, from what I have heard this is the only webisode which can be counted as valid in the real story, which only goes to prove my point.
“I need you to wake up my son, He has work to do.”
So concludes the first ever LOST Tomfoolery, tune in every weekend and Thursday for new installments of, LOST Tomfoolery.

Spreadin’ some Love
I just wanted to shout out a shameless plug for Jay and Jack’s LOST podcast. During their most recent episode they featured my call, and as corny as it sounds it made me pretty excited.
My favorite part of James’ call was “So Carl is dead… Whatever”
-Jack
Every week Jay and Jack provide a plethora of LOST info along with plenty of laughs that remind me of the often misunderstood humor between my self and my own Dad. So here’s to Jay and Jack *raises non-existent glass.* Go check out their site and subscribe to one of the best podcasts out there.
No commentsToo much Love for Hopkins?
This weekend Johns Hopkins’ mens Lacrosse team defeated their oldest Rival Maryland 10-4. After a so far disappointing four and five season, somehow Hopkins’ win was enough to propel them to a number 7 ranking? You have a North Carolina team who took down Hopkins earlier in the season 13-8 at number 13, and Georgetown (8) is the only team to defeat Duke this season and barley lost to number 2 Syracuse.
So how is it that a Hopkins who was obliterated by Duke and North Carolina can jump six rankings with one win? Hopkins’ fans would probably point to the overtime losses, or the strength of schedule, others will rally behind the fact that in lacrosse, Hopkins’ seems to be equivalent to Duke in basketball. No matter how desperate their season may look they always find their way onto everyone’s brackets come tourney time.
So does the lacrosse world give Johns Hopkins to much love? Ab-so-freaking-lutely. Does it matter? I guess we will have to see how they respond in their next 4 games to tell.
